Owner and designer Simon Ratcliffe has over 30 years experience, stemming from a European education and apprenticeship in horticulture earning him a “Master Grade” qualification in his field. This, combined with a passion for nature and the natural environment gives Avalon Landscape Services not only a style of its own but also the knowledge required to ensure your landscape will develop to its full potential.
Since the key to a successful landscape is good planning, an initial meeting is held on site to discuss your requirements and tastes in order to formulate a basic concept or “wish list” for your landscape. With this knowledge we are then able to create a basic landscape design.
Throughout the design process, our clientele is encouraged to offer their input, enabling us to create a final landscape design that reflects their personal taste and meets their budget requirements.
